WhiteWall Intros Direct Print on Wood

August 23, 2017

By Greg Scoblete

If you relish the rustic look, WhiteWall is rolling out a new print product that should be right up your alley (or is that tree?).

The new Direct Print on Wood process involves, as the name suggests, a photo print applied directly to wood (birch wood, to be specific). WhiteWall uses a 7-color process and prints on wood that’s taken from a single tree so that the grain pattern remains consistent—even on larger sizes.

The wood is 1/4-inch thick and available in sizes from 4 x 4 inches up to 40 x 36 inches. The smaller format versions, up to 8 x 6 inches, are stable enough to be placed upright on desks and other surfaces. Larger sizes arrive ready to hang.

You can order the wooden print with rounded or cut corners and in a variety of aspect ratios. Prices start at $11.90. (The full price sheet is here.)
