Central to printmaking is the resolution of your output file, measured in dots per inch (DPI). DPI seems relatively straightforward: the more dots you can cram into a given space, the higher the resolution of your print. But as Thomas Kuoh explains in the video below, you don't always need a high DPI to create a stunning print—even a very large print. The video does a nice job examining the nuances of DPI when it comes to print size.
