Celebrity Bride, California Sun and an Awesome Ranch [Rf Photo of the Day]

This bride—actress Ellen Hollman—is an animal lover, so it was no surprise when she wanted to incorporate a horse into her wedding portraits, says fine-art wedding photographer Leah Vis.

Fortunately the wedding venue, Condor’s Nest Ranch in Pala, California, had more than just beautiful California sunlight to elevate the wedding imagery. It also had “several gorgeous horses,” says Vis, “and I personally love horses too. I think they are one of the most beautiful and fascinating animals.” In fact, this image brings together a number of elements that the Rf 30 Rising Star from 2012 enjoys photographing. “I love seeing so much beauty combined,” Vis says. “A horse, a bride, twilight and an awesome ranch!”
