Photographers Tanja and Andreas of Blitzkneisser Photography turned a difficult situation into an opportunity during this styled shoot at Lago di Braies in northern Italy. Working with a real couple, Tanja and Andreas explain that the weather started to get cold and rainy as they set up, and with that, having the couple stand at ease in the water was not as pleasant as it could have been.

To their benefit, the cold weather also scared away the usual crowd of tourists that come to visit this beautiful scene, so they had it all to themselves. “We’re glad that everything worked so well,” say the photographers. “The weather gave us the chance to capture a beautiful, moody moment.”
