New From Sony: A Zoom Lens for APS-C Cameras

If you own a Sony a6000-series mirrorless camera, Sony has some new glass for you. The company is adding a new 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 lens to its APS-C lineup.
The lens (model SEL18135) offers a 35mm equivalent focal length of 27-202.5mm. It features optical image stabilization and weighs in at 11 ounces.
It boasts one aspherical lens and two Extra-low Dispersion glass elements to minimize optical aberrations. You’ll enjoy a maximum magnification ratio of 0.29x and minimum focus distance of 0.45m.
Autofocusing is driven by a linear motor.
The 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 will ship in February for $600.
