Rokinon Intros New XEEN Cinema Lens
July 18, 2016
Rokinon is planning to announce one new lens a week for the next five weeks and they’re kicking things off with a new XEEN cinema lens: a 135mm, T2.2.
XEEN lenses are designed to work with full frame DSLRs, Super 35mm cameras as well as APS-C and APS-H format cameras.
The 135mm T2.2 is available PL, Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony E, and Micro Four Thirds mounts with options for imperial or metric units on the focus scales.
The XEEN lenses have aluminum housings and smooth focus rings. They offer industry-standard gearings for adding follow focus accessories. The 135mm lens has 11 aperture blades for creating circular bokeh and the aperture is declicked so you can make gentle exposure transitions.
It goes on sale next month for $2,500.
