There’s no question that drones are becoming a staple of wedding cinematography, but we’re more often seeing them used for brief establishing shots interspersed between more traditional, ground-based scenes.

Adam Rubin of Israel-based studio Kaveret recently broke the mold with this stunning 3-minute bridal entry video, shot using a DJI Phantom 4. Yes, Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California, is about as picturesque a location as you can get, but Rubin’s camera work is also wonderfully graceful and cinematic.

While the Phantom 4 has plenty of auto-pilot settings, Rubin was flying manually to guide the drone to the ideal framing.

Have a look and let us know what you think in the comments.
