February 01, 2012 — When you receive this issue our team will be hosting the WPPI trade show in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand (February 16-23). If you’re joining us, welcome! With programs such as WPPI University, Photographers Ignite and the Awards Night extravaganza, WPPI 2012 is poised to be our best show ever. There are over 150 classes to choose from and our extensive show fl oor for you to explore.

WPPI is your time to network, learn and gain inspiration from our wonderful speakers and from fellow photographers. If you’re unable to attend WPPI 2012, not to worry—The Nielsen Photo Group is hosting four photography trade shows in 2012. There is still plenty of time to make plans to join us at the WPPI Mexico in Mexico City (May 7-9), the Outdoor Photo Expo in Salt Lake City (August 1-4) or at the PhotoPlus Expo in New York City (October 25-27). We will also be hosting the popular WPPI U On the Road events again this year.

Each city on the tour will host two days of educational classes, a mini trade show and much more. Log on to wppionline.com for details. We realize budgets can be tight and it can be hard to carve out time for continuing education but it is important for your career and evolution as a photographer. I personally fi nd these events invigorating and I love returning to the offi ce full of ideas and with an exciting list of new contacts. For those of you who can’t join us, we’ll be posting highlights from all of these events on our newly designed Web site, rangefi nderonline.com. Via print, online and face-to-face, we are committed to providing you with information and inspiration to carry you through the year (and venues where you can have some fun).
